Our Causes
The Zonta Club of New Providence and our members work at the international, national and local levels to realise our vision of a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential, where women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men, and where no woman lives in fear of violence
We raise awareness of the violation of women’s rights and educate men and women about the importance of a world free of violence and gender-based violence.
We provide scholarship and opportunities for women to improve their skills and achieve higher education.
Health
We also raise funds to ensure that underprivileged women has access to health care.
We help women improve their economic status so that they are able to create a better life for themselves and their families
Our Signature Events
The Zonta Club of New Providence holds numerous events and initiatives aimed at uplifting and improving the lives of women in The Bahamas. Many of these initiatives and events have become annual activities for which Zonta Club of New Providence has solidified its presence in the community.
